Job Title:        Independent IO Consultant

Location:           Work from Home

Position Description:

If you currently work as an IO or HR consultant and want to pick up additional consulting work this might be a good opportunity for you.  In this position you would be the IO consultant to TNS clients. You would be involved in support clients in their quest to conduct large scale employee surveys, HR analytics and leadership development activities. This includes meetings with clients to understand their needs and business strategies, assisting in employee survey program design, working with the TNS staff for survey implementation and reporting, reviewing client survey data, preparing and delivering executive feedback/strategy meetings, providing leadership training, facilitating  focus groups, linking survey results to other HR/ business data via HR analytic processes.  Job Duties:

  • Survey consultation to understand client organizational needs
  • Work with organizational leadership to develop survey goals and vision
  • Conduct focus groups
  • Develop survey items and categories with client
  • Develop overall survey strategy based on sound IO research methods and business practices
  • Understand and interpret results
  • Provide summary analysis including recommendations for action planning
  • Develop and present executive summaries to senior leadership teams
  • Develop and conduct training programs/offsite executive meetings, etc.
  • Conduct action planning meetings
  • Cooperate with TNS staff who will set up and the online survey setup, operations, analysis and reporting

Required Experience/ Education:

  • Previous experience in employee survey research, management consulting, human resources, training and development, and/or business development. 
  • PhD or Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Statistics, etc
  • 10-15 years of business experience. 
  • Statistics, business acumen, and proven leadership abilities. 
  • Travel is required, from time to time for client meetings
